Honor Gregorio's Memory: Send Him Home

Hello there, my name is Araseli. I am the daughter-in-law of Gregorio Huertas. On behalf of his son Felix, we are starting a fundraiser for Gregorio, aka Goyo!

In mid-August, he was recently admitted to the hospital due to kidney failure. Due to kidney failure, he was put on dialysis and oxygen. On September 27, 2024, we were hit by Hurricane Helene at 12 am. We lost power, and the hurricane has caused lots of damage in our area and surroundings!

Later that day, we were all outside during the evening due to no power, trying to feel the cool breeze, and we were getting ready to cook dinner outside. Gregorio stepped inside the house to use the restroom. Not even 10 minutes had gone by when we went inside to get some items needed to prepare our food, and as we walked inside our home, we found him laying on the floor unresponsive. We called 911. The sheriff's, fire department, and paramedics arrived and did everything they could to bring him back, but unfortunately, he passed away later that evening.

So we are asking for a small donation; anything helps so we can at least send him back to Mexico. Those were his wishes, to be laid to rest next to his wife.
