Help Us Honor Jason Hodges: A Loving Father, Brother, and Son
Dear friends and family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Jason Hodges’ passing on October 12, 2024, after a brave three-year battle with stomach cancer. Born in 1973, Jason was a vibrant spirit full of energy and love for life. He grew up in Queens, New York, attending P.S. 132, I.S. 59, and graduating from Hillcrest High School.
Jason was not only a devoted protector of his family but also the light in any room he entered. With his infectious smile and warm personality, he had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like family. A passionate chef, Jason’s culinary talents were truly special—he was better than G. Garvin and Guy Fieri combined! His jerk ribs were legendary, tender, and flavorful, and we all wish more people could have experienced his cooking.
He leaves behind four daughters, one son, and five grandchildren who loved him dearly. Unfortunately, Jason did not have a will, and his family now faces the difficult task of arranging his burial and cremation services during this challenging time.
We are reaching out to seek your support in honoring Jason’s memory and providing him with the dignified farewell he deserves. Any contributions will help cover the costs of his burial and cremation, ensuring that his legacy of love continues to shine brightly.
Your kindness and generosity will help his children lay him to rest with the same love and warmth he shared with us all. Thank you for your support and for celebrating the life of a truly remarkable man.
With heartfelt gratitude,
