Honor Jesse Ocegueda's Life and Legacy
Donation protected
Hello everyone, we are saddened to announce the passing of our father, Jesse “Chuy” Ocegueda, who gained his wings on Friday, December 27th, 2024. We are asking for donations to help give him the proper burial he deserves. All proceeds will go toward the funeral expenses.
Jesse was an outgoing person who never failed to make the ones he crossed paths with smile. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nino, and most importantly, friend. Jesse worked for many towing companies, but his home was Freddie Mac’s. He was a Montebello Unified School Bus Driver for many years. He loved building such strong bonds with coworkers and getting every chance to help make those smile and laugh.
Jesse was a dialysis patient for 6 years but still pushed through every day, always making jokes to make everyone else’s day just a little brighter. He loved making the staff and other patients dance and laugh while playing music to make the time pass. Jesse was diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago and had his first round of chemotherapy on Christmas Eve. Unexpectedly, early Friday morning, Jesse passed away at the age of 60, just weeks before his birthday, which he was greatly looking forward to.
At this time, we would like to thank all for any donations given to make Jesse’s farewell one that would continue to make him smile and continue passing on the smile he had yet to share.
We will be announcing the dates for his services soon. Thank you all once again!
