Honor Joe Ferguson: Help with Final Costs
Donation protected
Joe Ferguson passed away at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Many of you may never have met Joe but for many years he played an integral role in the watchcare of Victory Mission. As we slept through the night, Joe was one of several Victory's employees who worked the overnight shift at the Front Desk of the Shelter. It takes a special person willing to stand in the gap year after year when 99.9% of the rest of the team are off site. We slept well every night knowing we have dedicated employees, like Joe, who put their efforts in making the Shelter a place of safety and ministry.
Joe was a 16 year employee and retired in the early Spring of this year at the age of 75. Joe came to Victory back in the mid 2000's and enrolled in Victory's culinary education program and he remained with us from that point on becoming a long-term resident at the Shelter. In the next few days, please join me in praying for his surviving sister, Virginia, as she grieves his passing. We want to thank Torrey Bozman, Shelter Manager, who not only was Joe's supervisor but also became a good friend of his. She and her sister have asked to create this GoFundMe to help with final expenses. Let’s rally around this family during this difficult time and help him and his family as he has helped so many of us. Thank you and God bless you all.
