Honor Joe Verhest Memory support his Burial

Heartbroken and devastated, my father Joe passed away on 08/29/2024. He was a Vietnam veteran for the United States Air Force and loved the military. He suffered for many years with heart failure. To make things worse, my mom broke her hip on August 18 and is currently in a rehab center. They’ve been together every day for the past 58 years. My heart can't express the pain. Unfortunately, because of the many years of heart failure, my father was never able to get any kind of life insurance policy. I am an only child and just trying to put all the pieces together to get through this difficult time. Any help and prayers would be so appreciated, thank you. I am hoping my mom can walk out of rehab with a walker to give a proper burial for my dad at this time. The date is unknown.
