Honor John by donating to his favorite place
Tax deductible
John sadly passed away on October 21, 2021 surrounded by friends and family. 22 years ago, after his son James passed away suddenly and tragically, John set up a fund at the Ipswich River Audubon Sanctuary, it was their favorite place to experience nature on the north shore. The fund was set up to pay for underprivileged children to attend camp and gain an appreciation of the natural world. John's wishes were for his family to carry on and support the fund in his honor. Money raised will continue to pay for children to attend camp and to endow a memorial bench within the sanctuary dedicated to both John and James. He also made wood carvings of several local birds and donated them to the sanctuary, they are on display in the discovery center building. John did not wish to have a formal service after his death, but he did want everyone to get out in nature at the sanctuary and enjoy the serenity and beauty he loved so much. John's family thanks you for your kind donation of any amount.
