Honor John Moore: Help Us Give Him a Proper Burial

Monday, November 4, 2024 my father, John David Moore passed away.

He was loved and known by many. As he loved and knew many. For years, he worked with others in creative spaces. On stages, in front of cameras, behind cameras. He was always passionate about the arts and his craft, and his contribution.

He leaves behind him a son, Sean Moore, his brother Philip Moore Jr, as well as his parents Shula Whitt and Philip Moore.

Today, we are coming to the community and the people who loved him to help us in this time.

It turns out, the passing of loved ones is very expensive. We don’t have the money to give him the burial he deserves.

He is to be buried with his brother, Ken, in Memphis, TN. Memorial Park Cemetery.

Any help at all will be considered a miracle. This loss was unexpected and we don’t know what to do. All I can say at this time, as his son, is that my Dad loved you all. And his priority was always to love. He deserves this love now more than ever.
