Johnny Trobis' Cremation and Memorial Service Expenses

My grandpa, Johnny Trobis, will be going on hospice next week. He has battled end-stage kidney disease for years, and his tireless fight with type 2 Diabetes and Osteomyelitis in his feet is coming to an end. Due to his condition, his team is estimating that he will only live a week or less once he stops dialysis. It will happen fast, so I am creating this now in preparation, to try to help take the load off of my aunt and my grandma. My aunt has faithfully taken care of my papa for years, as he moved in with her when his health started failing. It is due to her care of him that he has survived as long as he has, and I want this process to be as smooth as possible for her and everyone else involved.

He and my grandma have not qualified for life insurance due to their health for over 15 years. They live on a fixed income which does not leave room for saving enough for funeral expenses. My grandma will have to use what she has saved for her rent and survival after his passing. If you are willing or able, our family would be so grateful and appreciative for any help that we can receive to make this tremendously painful time less stressful. They have been faithfully married for 38 years and she is devastated to lose him. We all are. Everyone who knows my grandpa will tell you he has raised countless children as his own, including me. He's the best man I know. I can honestly say I wouldn't be here today without him. He is a dedicated father, grandfather, and husband, who gave his life to doing things for others. He has always helped those in need and now it's his turn to ask for help. (Which is something we do not take lightly and not something he almost ever does.)
