Honor Kerry Culbreth by Helping His Family
Donation protected
On Tuesday, April 8th, Kerry Culbreth's drums went silent for the last time. We got to share only 69 years with him on this earth. He spent the last 35 1/2 of those years raising 3 beautiful daughters with his amazing wife, Julee.
If you knew Kerry, you know he was the very definition of charisma and charm. He had no filter, laughed easily and often, and was everyone's best friend from the moment you met him.
What you may not know is some of the many health struggles Kerry went through over the years. Due to some of these struggles, life insurance was elusive, and he did not qualify for a policy. Julee has always been strong and self-sufficient, but as her longest (we're not using the word oldest) friend, I know that she would benefit greatly from some assistance with his final expenses and while she and her girls find a new normal.
While the family continues to mourn privately, a small memorial is being planned in the next week or so with a larger Celebration of Life with a scattering of his ashes to follow later this spring. These dates will be made available when they are finalized.
Maybe you knew Kerry as the go-to chimney guy in Louisville. Maybe you heard him play in one of the many local bands he graced with his musical talents. Maybe you work at the bank, the barber, the gas station, or the home improvement store he frequented. Maybe you were a neighbor, a business associate, or a tradesman who worked with him. However Kerry touched your life, please consider donating to this GoFundMe to help his wife and children ease the financial burden that always comes with the loss of a close family member, and to help honor his memory.
The family is asking for this in lieu of flowers, and are deeply grateful for anything you can do to help. He was always the biggest personality in any room he graced. Remember him fondly and loudly... the world will forever be a quieter place without him.
