On April 12, 2025, our community suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of Kyren Lacy. Kyren was so much more than a name — he was a beloved son, brother, cousin, friend, and teammate. He touched countless lives with his heart, his strength, and his unwavering positivity.

Born and raised in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Kyren never forgot where he came from. He carried that love with him as he made his mark on and off the field. A proud recent graduate of LSU and a member of the LSU football team, Kyren represented his family, his community, and his school with pride and humility.

The news of his passing has rocked all of us — from his hometown to the LSU family and far beyond. In the midst of this heartbreak, so many have reached out asking how they can help and show support.
