Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to support Angela and Joe, the incredible founders of Let's Play Work. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this beloved community space is facing closure, and we need our community to come together in order to help cover the associated costs and honor the legacy they've built.

Let's Play Work was more than just a place; it was a dream made into reality by Angela and Joe to create an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone felt at home. Their commitment to the community was evident in every aspect of the space. They provided:

Inclusive Space for All: A warm, inviting environment where everyone was welcome. They made sure clients knew it through hosting many events including Pride Drop Off Tween Movie Night, Pride with Let's Play Work, Cinco de Mayo Movie Night, Celebrating Black History Month, Chanukah Donuts and Dance Party, Bilingual Story Time, Arab American Heritage Month Storytime, Hoppy Easter Party and more!

Support for Local Businesses: Angela and Joe consistently used their space to promote and support local businesses through hosting events like Mother's Day Market, Indoor Yard Sale, Storytime, and the New Parent Resource Fair. And if there was ever a community event, you know they were also present to help support.

Newborn Parent Meet Ups: Recognizing the challenges of new parenthood, they offered free events to support new parents in the community.

Work-Friendly Environment for Parents: They created a unique space where working parents could get work done while their children were entertained.

Angela and Joe's dedication went beyond just offering a business. Let's Play Work became a safe space for parents seeking balance, local businesses needing a boost, and parents looking for a place to connect and grow.

How You Can Help

As we face the unfortunate reality of closure, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on Angela and Joe. Your generous contributions will help cover the costs associated with closing down Let's Play Work, including:

Play structure loans

Dismantling of the play structure and equipment
