It's with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Loretta S. Wilcher, my beloved, mother, friend, and pillar of her community. My mother Loretta was born on August 9, 1956, and left this world on February 9, 2025. She lived in Hunters Point, San Francisco, where she touched countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.

A mother of two, Loretta devoted her life to myself, Sidney and those around her. She was the kind of person who would give her last to help someone in need, always making sure that those she loved never felt alone. Her warmth and strength were the foundation of her family, and her absence leaves a void that words can’t fill.
