Honor Manny Granillo: Support His Family

In Remembrance of Manny Granillo
It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Manny Granillo. A loving husband, devoted father, and steadfast man of faith. Manny passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family, leaving behind his beloved wife, Kristina, and three children, Wyatt, Ellie, and Garrett. Manny’s life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and an enduring passion for community and creativity.

Manny absolutely loved being a father and being a part of the Redwood City community that the family is involved in. You would always find him at pick up/drop offs, scouting events, sports, birthday parties, school events, etc., because his biggest goal in life was to be an active present father to help mold and build the children’s characters.

Proud St. Mary’s alumni, Manny co-founded Hoplite Research, a company celebrated for publishing innovative games that captivated and connected thousands of players worldwide. Manny's personal dedication and warmth infused each game with a unique sense of community and belonging, drawing people together not just as players, but as friends.

In addition to his professional achievements, Manny was a pillar of the tabletop wargaming community, inspiring fellow enthusiasts with his boundless energy, encouragement, and insight.

He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for the joy, warmth, and light he brought to the world. A true friend and role model, he left a profound impact on those fortunate enough to know him, touching lives with his kindness, wisdom, and genuine care.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on Kristina as her and the kids grieve their profound loss.

Your support means so much to them and will allow them to honor Manny’s life in a way that reflects the love and kindness he shared with all who knew him. We thank you for any help you can provide, whether through donations or sharing this page with others.

From the bottom of our hearts, and on behalf of Kristina and kids, we thank you for your generosity and compassion during this challenging time, and we wish you peace, blessings, prosperity, and all the love in the world.
