Honor Maria With A Funeral Donation

Hello everyone,

On Saturday 04/13/24, we lost our dear grandmother, Maria, to an unexpected medical complication. She passed at the young age of 72 yrs old in her home, under the loving care of her daughter.

Maria is Hispanic-American, born in Mexico and immigrated to America when she was just 19 yrs old. She was born in under-developed circumstances which resulted in a premature birth with several health conditions for the future. She was raised on a farm in Mexico and absolutely adored all the farm animals, namely the chicks' and piglets'. She was a devout Christian, loved being active outside, walking everywhere she could, making homemade tamales and fried potatoes for her granddaughters, spending every moment with her daughter and 2 granddaughters, and taking part in her Hispanic heritage and culture.

At the age of 55, she was diagnosed with diabetes and has undergone dialysis treatments every 3 days, for the past 17 years. She always made the most out of life and wasn't going to have her chronic illness slow her down. She was hard working, always pushing forward, and setting the example of "getting it done no matter what it takes." She was loved and adored during her time with us and she will be deeply missed.

Her passing took us by surprise and we have been very overwhelmed with planning the funeral and memorial for such a special lady in our lives. We're looking into payment plans for all the costs associated but financially this is hitting us very hard so we are asking for help during this difficult time.
