Honor Mark Shattuck: Bring His Ashes Home, support needed.
Donation protected
My name is Linda Laws, the wife and best friend of Mark Shattuck. He passed peacefully on Labor Day, 9/2/2024. He was a kind, loving, and humorous man. His family of children, stepchildren, grandchildren, church, and friends miss him. He fought colon and liver cancer for over 2 1/2 years. He wanted to live and not die. He understood our Lord had other plans for him as he raised his hands up, like a child to his father, minutes before his last breath.
I loved him so much. We spent 12 years as man and wife and 3 prior years, Mark asking me to marry him. I am requesting this fundraiser to not only bring awareness to his passing, but to raise finances for his ashes to be brought home and a VA memorial service to be held at the local church he attended and spoke at, on occasion, at Hope Diamond Ministries. Mark spent 22 years in the military Navy, as a CB and steelworker. He assisted many, asked or not. His love of Jesus Christ as his savior was overflowing. Our home is here, on the Big Island of Hawaii, which he loved so much. He loved its people, culture, warm blue skies, and its beaches. His last outing was a three-night sleepover tenting on his favorite beach. Please assist me with your donations to bring his ashes home and give him a memorial service he deserves. Thank you and may God bless your donation of any amount.
