Honor Mellen-Thomas Benedict by supporting the one who supported him.

On March 31, 2017 Mellen-Thomas Benedict passed from his earthly life into the brilliant world of spirit.  Mellen was well known for having visited "beyond the veil" and for sharing his exciting experiences while there.  (See any of the numerous online sources about Mellen’s work chronicling his 1982 NDE)

Mellen was a renaissance man, an inventor, a talented speaker, an artist & musician.   As with many brilliant minds, there was a partner loving and supporting him through his career journeys and doing a great deal of the work behind the scenes.  Adora Deva was that someone for the past decade.   When Adora and Mellen dissolved their intimate partnership amicably in 2016, they remained close friends.   Upon his unexpected passing, the managing of end-of-life affairs and scores of tasks related to his departure fell to her.   

Adora is our dear friend, a trained healer, a spiritual teacher and a woman of dedication and service.   We have observed her spend hundreds of hours disentangling Mellen's complex and creative life as well as the numerous practicalities of his household and financial affairs, none of which had been made “ready for take-off”.   Adora put divine friendship into dedicated action by setting aside her own career and self-care for many weeks, working hard to honor him.   Her service to her friend continues as she plans a memorial celebration for late July in his adopted town of Santa Cruz. 

At this point we feel she needs a refueling.  Adora is willing to receive contributions to support the many efforts she has made on Mellen's behalf following his passing.   There is still much to do in order for Mellen’s spirit to soar free and for her own to regain strength.   Mellen-Thomas Benedict’s passing was the conclusion of a unique & varied career spanning many years.  The task of laying to rest his work, legacy and personal household has been as expansive as he was.
