Honor Miguel Alvarez-Quilies' Final Journey

Hello I am trying to help raise funds SSG Jessica Alvarez and her family.

SSG Jessica Alvarez's grandfather, Miguel Alvarez-Quilies was a 94 year old Korean war veteran. He unfortunately passed away on December 7th 2024.

Miguel was a SSG for the Navy which he served 22 years. He also served 8 years in the Army Reserve.

He was a courageous soldier who received 2 purple hearts, 2 bronze medals and countless other medals, and badges during his time in service.

He was a father to 9 children, grandfather to 21 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

SSG Jessica Alvarez has always supported her friends and fellow soldiers. It's our time to return that generosity. SSG Alvarez's family is in need of financial help to bring their loved one home from Puerto Rico to Florida where he will be laid to rest in the national cemetery.
