Bob Pomeroy and the Bartlesville Sports Commission invite you to HONOR Mike Tupa and his service to our community. Mike Tupa has been covering sports for the Bartlesville Examiner Enterprise for over 25 years! Youth in Bartlesville and surrounding communities have been the subjects of his positive, uplifting, and expressive sportswriting. Known for his clever use of metaphors and prolific adjectives, Mike has made an immeasurable number of young athletes feel celebrated and special. Some community members have said, “Tupa always accentuates the positive.” “He’s a prolific sportswriter.” “He’s probably the number one buddy the youth in this town have.” “It does a lot for a kid to see that they do get recognition in the paper.”

 

Mike has been the #1 fan of our athletes for 25 years…now it’s time for us to show our appreciation. The Bartlesville Sports Commission is hoping to SURPRISE Mike by honoring him with a monetary gift at the March 23rd board meeting. THANK YOU very much for your consideration!
