Honor Natalie's Legacy and support for her children's future

Our beloved Natalie Rachel Faison died suddenly on May 13, 2024 after a long battle with complications from a cancer-related illness. She was 39 years young. The beautiful Natalie was born December 8, 1984 in Chicago, Illinois to Rita Faison and Michael Evans.

Natalie was the heart and soul of her family and she devoted her life to caring for her children, Xavier (16) and Leah (almost 13) in a happy and loving home. She was raising them to be kind, confident, respectful, and forward-thinking young adults. Natalie was married to Jermayne Rose for several years and they continued to have a good co-parenting relationship.

Natalie was raised by her mother in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood where she attended St. Thomas, Kozminski and Murray Language Academy grade schools. She also attended Downers Grove South High School and graduated from Thornwood High School in 2003. For college, she first attended South Suburban Community College before obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology in 2008 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.

Natalie and her mom were both baptized at the Apostle Church of God in Chicago, and attended there for many years. After moving from Hyde Park, they briefly lived in Woodridge, IL and then lived for several years in Calumet City. As an adult, Natalie moved to Aurora, IL where she became a member of Victory Cathedral Worship Center.

Natalie was an inspiration to many with her unparalleled ability to offer guidance and support. Her soul was a shining light that filled every room with warmth and positivity. Her dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence laid the foundation for the business she founded, Reflections Cleaning Enterprises. Her legacy will continue to inspire her staff as they strive to uphold the high standards and values she instilled in the company and those she worked with.

Natalie was always a shining example of resilience, rising above every challenge with grace and grit. She taught us that even when things get tough, which they often did due to her continuing health problems, to still push towards your goals and dreams. Her selfless nature, dedication, and love of life was inspiring, she was a beacon of light to us all and she was truly loved by many.

Along with her children, Natalie is survived by her mother, Rita (Faison) Beck, her step-father, Eric Beck, her sisters Taryn Kacey and Amy Beck; several aunts, uncles, cousins, her best friend since 3rd grade, Jennifer Herron and her parents Linda and Stevon (Natalie's extended family), and what appears to be hundreds of over friends. If love could have saved her, she would have lived for ever.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Victory Cathedral Worship Center, 369 N. Weber Rd., Bolingbrook, Illinois from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. After the service, we shared memories and laughs and raised a glass in celebration of Natalie’s life and journey home to God’s loving embrace. In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations toward Natalie’s 2 children’s future. We thank you all for the amazing amount of kindness, love, support and prayers being offered by so many during this difficult time. We thank God for each and every one of you.
