Help Us Honor Nora Elia Rojas with a Proper Headstone
Dear friends and family,
As some of you may know, my mother, Nora Elia Rojas, was tragically murdered in 1989. For many years, her identity remained unknown, and she was buried as Jane Doe. Recently, thanks to the efforts of DNA specialist Michelle Kennedy, we were able to positively identify her, bringing a long-awaited sense of closure to our family.
With my birthday coming up in just two days, I find myself reflecting on the deep pain of never having experienced unconditional love from a mother. The loss of this love has been profound, and it deeply hurts that some took that away from me. The least I can do now is ensure Nora, my mother is honored with a headstone that bears her name and acknowledges her life.
Unfortunately, due to some financial hardships, I’m unable to cover the costs of the headstone on my own. I’m reaching out to ask for your support in giving my mother the dignity and recognition she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and would mean the world to me and my family.
Thank you for considering helping us during this difficult time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Josie
