My name is Leanna. I am starting this GoFundMe to help William Bayless' caregiver with the cost for a casket. William Bayless passed away on July 4, 2024. He was a very dear person to our family as well as everyone he met. Bill was a veteran who fought for our country. He was a very kind, loving, and caring man who never met a stranger. Everyone that Bill came across was a friend. The VA will pay for all of his burial and funeral services except the casket.

Bill had a caregiver of 13 years named Valerie. Bill also has 2 sisters who are disabled and unable to work and provide assistance with funeral costs. Valerie is unable to work due to heart health conditions and is in desperate need of help to be able to afford the cost of the casket so that Bill can be given the funeral and burial services he much deserves.
