Honor Pat Ruberto: Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Patrick Ruberto, known in the neighborhood as Pat, was a beloved part of our small but vibrant Cliff Street community here in Union City. He was a wonderful neighbor— always ready to lend a helping hand or smile to anyone who needed it. He loved cars, especially his, and helped my grandfather fix up his car on multiple occasions. When my grandfather passed away and I inherited his car, Pat was right there next to me whenever it had a problem. Pat loved his cat, a beautiful long haired kitty that he cared for with upmost dedication. He also loved to cook, and one time delivered a whole container of homemade braised cabbage to our door— cabbage, because he knew we were vegetarians. I’m sure there are a lot of stories his neighbors and close friends can tell about his beauty as a person, these are just mine.
Pat has passed away and has no blood relatives, only a community of friends and neighbors. We are banding together help his close family friend fundraise $1570 to cover the cost of a memorial for him. He deserves to be remembered and memorialized. Let’s give him the goodbye he deserves.
UPDATE: Pat’s memorial has been rescheduled due to delays with the medical examiner’s office. Please stay posted for an updated day & time. Reach out to me, Marina, at [phone redacted] if you have any questions.
