Honor Patricia Cleveland: Assist Her Family

I’m fundraising for the family of Patricia Cleveland to help cover the costs of funeral expenses for their mom who passed away on July 30, 2024 after losing a fierce battle with lung cancer.

Pat and I met when we both began volunteering at the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad in October of 1993. As the years passed, our friendship grew more meaningful and deep. Our lives intertwined with our mutual love of our volunteer work. We shared stories about life at the station, personal woes and triumphant endeavors. I sobbed when she called me last year to tell me she had cancer. I cried even more when her husband passed suddenly in January. Tears come to my eyes each and every day that I realize she is gone. I know that she depends on me to help out her family at their time of need.

And so, with a heavy heart, I am reaching out and asking for your support. I want to help Pat’s family find a way to cover the costs of a funeral service and the associated expenses.
