Honor Rachel Nelson at the International Storytelling Center

Musician, storyteller, poet, performer, partner, and friend, Rachel Nelson passed away August 30, 2024. In lieu of flowers, her loved ones are collecting contributions for the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Rachel traveled there many times for the National Storytelling Festival.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to get a brick with her name in the courtyard of the Center and a metal bench with her name in the adjoining park. She would be memorialized in a place she loved while supporting an art form she devoted herself to with great passion.
