Honor Rosalind Dawson: Support Her Final Days
Donation protected
Hello friends. I am Cynthia LesCook and am in need of support for my Aunt Rosalind Dawson. After many years serving her community in Boston Massachusetts, my Auntie Ros has been diagnosed with an incurable Brain Cancer called Glioblastoma. This terrible disease has slowly taken away her speech, ability to walk and care for herself in her own home. She has been in a nursing facility for a few months and we are trying to find a way to be able to provide care in her own home for her last days. Unfortunately, Ros has no savings or life insurance. We are asking for your support to provide home health care as she needs 24 hour care. We are also asking for your help to pay outstanding bills and pay for her end of life funeral arrangements.
My aunt has been a pillar of her community for over 40 years. She has been a mentor and support system for many in her lifetime. She mentored her church family, served as the president of her neighborhood’s tenants association and trained and took care of her neighbors dogs for many years. Everyone in midtown Boston knew her as the dog walking lady and most would have never known how old she really was as she has always taken great care of her health and looked 20 years younger than her age.
We sincerely thank you in advance for any support you can provide to her family so we can bring my Auntie home for her to be at peace until the end.
