Honor Sandi Delfs’ Legacy: Support Lucy's Future

Sandi Delfs was my mom and figure skating coach to hundreds of skaters over many decades. She was a beloved grandma, sister, and friend to many. She fought cancer very privately for 6 years, and continued to coach her students through it all. She was brave and fought the difficult battle every day. She sadly passed this summer.

We are honoring my mom and her love for her granddaughter, Lucy, by taking donations to our Special Needs Trust for Lucy. In lieu of flowers or other charitable donations, my mom wanted to have contributions made to this fund to help support Lucy in adulthood. Lucy is visually impaired and has other delays that will make this fund a big help to her later in life.

Sandi was a passionate coach, mom and grandmother. We appreciate you thinking of her and our family during this difficult time.

We are having a skating exhibition in her honor on September 14, 2024 from 2:30-4:30pm at Twin Rinks Ice Pavilion in Buffalo Grove Illinois. Please join us!
