Honoring Shari Wuestner

Dear friends,

We are writing with a heavy heart to share that our beloved mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, Shari Wuestner, passed away peacefully in her home on November 7th surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was truly a remarkable person—known for her big heart, compassionate nature, and unwavering love for family. Her dedication to others touched countless lives, and her kindness will be cherished by all of us who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy lives on in her 2 children, 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren and so many loving family members and friends.

In lieu of sending the family flowers, we are raising funds to dedicate a memorial bench or tree in honor of our beloved "Granny", who touched the lives of everyone she met. Known for her kindness, love, and selfless nature, she always put others first and filled our lives with warmth and joy. She found peace in nature, and one of her favorite activities was taking serene walks around the lake, enjoying the beauty and tranquility it offered.

In her memory, we hope to place a bench or tree along the lake path, creating a quiet space for others to pause, reflect, and find comfort. This bench will serve as a lasting tribute to her legacy, a reminder of her generous spirit, and a place where family, friends, and community members can come to remember and honor her.

Any contribution, big or small, will help us create this special place to celebrate her life. Thank you for helping us honor our grandmother in a way that reflects her love for nature and her selfless heart.

A celebration of life will take place in the summer for her 80th birthday.
