Honor Sincere's Sacrifice, Aid Darius's Healing

On April 8th Around 5:30, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. My 19-year-old son, Sincere Fitz, was senselessly shot and killed in a mass shooting in Virginia while sitting in his car. His younger brother, Darius Fitz, was also critically injured-suffering gunshot wounds to the face and left arm.

The two brothers had just left a friend's house and were simply sitting in their car when they were attacked. In a final act of love and bravery, Sincere shielded his brother, ultimately saving Darius's life. Sincere will always be remembered as a hero.

Darius is now recovering from a head injury, nerve damage, and faces a long road of medical treatments and physical therapy.

The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming.
