Honor Student Trying to Go On Trip

This Go Fund Me has been established on behalf of Martina Palazzolo, a 14 year old honor student from Sterling Heights, Michigan. 
Martina has a high gpa and is enrolled in an honors program thru Utica Community Schools. She has recently been presented with an opportunity to take a student trip to Galápagos Islands in Ecuador with her class at the end ofthe 2021-22 school year. The cost is just over $4000 and it was Martina’s idea to collectreturnables from her local community, thereby helping people clean up their home environment and also offset the cost of the trip. 

Martina the youngest of three sisters and is a very humble, happy, and determined soul. She didn’t ask for this campaign to be established. I am her father and she has refused to accept money from myself or her mother for this endeavor because she feels we already put toomuch into her athletic affairs throughout the year. Not to mention, we are tapped out financially. However, we feel this educational trip would be as beneficial for her as she thinks it will be. Any assistance or donation is appreciated and we want to say thank you to anyone who helps in advance, so...THANK YOU.

UPDATE: We are up to $2300 in returnable donations...thanks to everyone who helped. That decreased the original total of $4200 drastically. Less than $1000 to go. It’s amazing to see how many people have reached out, cared, and assisted. THANK YOU ALL!!
