Honor Teressa Lee: Lunch for Nursing Home Friends

My name is Amanda Wick, and I am the daughter of Teressa Delayne Lee. My mother just passed, and we are asking for donations to help provide lunch and/or desserts for her friends at her nursing home where she resided for the past two years. She had many friends there that will not be able to attend her funeral due to health issues and disabilities. The nursing home is primarily for low-income residents, so a good meal or desserts will be much appreciated and a final gift from my mother in her honor. Thank you in advance.

Teressa Delayne Lee, aged 63, passed away on October 18, 2024, in Carrollton, GA. Born on March 26, 1961, Teri, as she was affectionately known, dedicated much of her life to law enforcement, having served with the Acworth Police Department and as the Director of the Police Explorers at Powder Springs Police Department. Her commitment to nurturing young minds in the community was recognized through numerous awards. She enjoyed organizing fundraisers for the youth and people in need. Teri was known for her vibrant personality, her ability to light up any room with laughter, and her deep love for her grandchildren, Emery, Minnie, and Annabelle, who were her utmost pride and joy. She was a beloved figure in her nursing home, where she enjoyed sharing stories of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, John Russell Lee and Amanda Sandra Lee Wick; grandchildren, Emery and Minnie Lee, Annabelle Harris; her mother and stepfather, Alice and Wayne Arnold; siblings, Donna and Eric Bresnan, and brother Rodger Deer; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Lee; son-in-law, Brian Wick; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S Main Street, Acworth, GA, on Wednesday, October 23, from 4 pm to 6 pm, followed by a funeral service at 6 pm. JD's Barbecue will cater food and refreshments.
