Honor Zoila Valdes with a Lasting Gravestone

Hi, my name is Gio and I’m fundraising for my grandmother Zoila Valdes. My grandmother passed away on August 1, 2020, due to complications from COVID-19.

This fundraiser is to assist in creating a gravestone for my grandmother. I went to the cemetery and the temporary plastic name plate is missing, causing difficulty with locating her exact spot and people unknowingly walking over her area. I requested a new temp plate to be installed. I understand that many of us may be going through financial difficulties but anything will help and is highly appreciated.

A grandmother's love is forever and always. Those lucky enough to have known them understand the gift of a grandmother in our lives.

Grandmothers are many things: a friend, a storyteller, and a sharp mouth who can get away with saying anything she pleases. A source of wisdom, a confidant, and someone who will give it to you straight. She loves beyond faults, to a fault. Grandmothers are so special; enjoy yours while they’re here! I miss mine so much and will do anything to see and feel mine again.
