Honorary Negro League Baseball Game 2024

My name is Todd Sullivan and my business is Perfect Game Pitching Solutions LLC. I am working together with the National Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and Yesterday's Negro League Baseball Players Foundation to put on a show like no other. Together with the community of Sacramento, California, we wish to put on an honorary NLB game to celebrate not only the rich history of the Negro Leagues but the many proud players who played with all their heart and spirit before the world would have them play as equals.
The National Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is operated by its president Bob Kendrick. Bob's mission is to remind everyone of the struggle and the trials and tribulations that befell the Negro League Players before their integration into the Major Leagues. Their stories are worth sharing and should not be easily forgotten. In this same manner, Dennis Biddle, a former Negro League player and co-owner of Yesterday's Negro League Players Foundation, also wishes to preserve these stories. His association provides care and assistance to former Negro League players while also offering labs and events to their community to teach them how they played the game.
This Honorary NLB Game will be like it was lifted out of the past and played with all the intensity and style of the Negro Leagues. The teams will be decided on soon to represent the old teams of the Negro Leagues as we gather a team of MLB players who will coach these teams of youths to victory. Prepare to play ball on September 22, 2024!
The game itself is a fundraiser, however I truly believe in the importance of the legacy of the Negro Leagues and how it has become beyond essential to know about in today's world. By setting up this GoFundMe, we can donate more to both the National Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and Yesterday's Negro League Players Foundation, as well as letting us also help alleviate some of the costs for local black-owned businesses. The donations raised by the fundraiser will be split equally amongst all recipients, so while our goal is lofty, every bit of help does count. This way, even if you can't make it to the game itself, you can still help out a good cause.
