Honoring a Beautiful Soul: Erica's Tree Memorial

On February 27th 2021 the world lost a treasured spirit. Erica Amy Schwarz was a wonderful friend, who loved life, her family, her parents and her friends.  Erica was born with a chronic disease called cystic fibrosis,  it has affected her throughout her life but she had never stopped fighting. In the wake of the pandemic she realized how much was at stake and how much she could lose, so she left New York in hopes of finding help out west with her parents, after 8 months of searching for an approoval for a transplant, her hopes and dreams to continue living were taken too soon. She went home and in the care and comfort of her family, she passed away peacefully. 

Erica was so loved and cherished by so many of us, that we her friends on the East Coast would like to dedicate a special memorial in honor ofdearly departed angel. We would like to plant a tree, in her favorite park (Fort Tryon Park)  where she walked her beloved poodle Samson for many years. In addition we would like to arrange a small but meaningful memorial service on the day of the planting and we would love to fly her parents to New York City for the occasion. Any leftover proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Erica.
