Honoring a Bright Spirit: Support for Services

Hello to whomever may be reading this, my name is Kevin, my mother's only child.

I am creating this GoFundMe to raise funds to place my mom at rest. My mother, Cristol D., passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. This was sudden and not expected.

In the remainder of her life, she was on hospice at home and was about to be released from the program as they saw her improving.

My mother was the most friendly of souls; she never knew a stranger, everyone was her friend. She did everything she could to brighten anyone and everyone's day, from telling silly jokes to giving the shirt off her back. She loved people.

I am seeking support, as I mentioned, to help me put her to rest. Due to her condition, she was on long-term care, and to meet the criteria of Arizona, she was only allowed a $2500 max asset. So, unfortunately, she didn't have any life insurance to assist in paying for services.

The funds allocated will be used to pay the funeral home the remainder of what needs to be paid for, as well as the cemetery the funds they need.

Please help me to put my mother at rest. Thank you for your support in advance; this is greatly appreciated more than you may ever know.

Please note: The actual date of services is the 25th of October, but I have been advised that they need the funds allocated a 48 hrs prior to services

Please note: My mother was paying for a loan against her account, for her services and due the sudden loss, the loan didn't get settled. Which leaves a balance forward to the funeral home of 1070.62.

I looked into the alternative of cremation for my mother's services, the policy was set up as irrevocable so it can't be changed.
