Honoring a Father's Wish: Help Maria and Miguel

Hello everyone, my name is Miguel and im writing this paragraph since my mom, Maria, cant really understand english nor type it. In december 14, 2024, my father Jose Roberto Campos, passed away due to 2 cardiac arrests he unfortunately got during the morning and noon at the age of 81. He suffered from dementia, Alzheimer, diabetes and other issues with his digestive system. I cannot imagine what he went through those moments, his thoughts, his feelings, his last and very memory. Everything remains in me and i wish i can just do something to bring him back, but i know that is not possible, and that wherever he stays now, he is in peace, somewhere in a warm and cozy place. Resting. My mother took care of him for a few years and basically did everything for him, bathed him, gave him food, changed him and walked with him everywhere she would go to. Since as he got older, he was diagnosed with dementia and he got problems with getting up by himself and others. Until sadly our financial situation worsen as time passed and so did he. And with our hearts heavy, and hardest decision, me and my mom decided that it was best for him to remain in a nursing home where they would take good care of him and keep an eye on him with his sickness, since he couldn’t speak, listen or understand that good anymore, he wasnt able to let us know when something hurt him or where he was hurting, when he needed something, or basic simple needs such as water. We used to visit him every week and whenever i wasn’t able to due to school, she would let me know she was going to see him. My mom and my family is devastated, a long time ago, he told my mother he wished to be cremated whenever he passed. We unfortunately cannot afford it due to financial issues we’ve been having for a while now, but we are trying our best to raise up money, but we cannot do it without help, Anything is much appreciated and will be recognized during the process.
