Honoring a legend: Graham C. Hufford
Donation protected
With the unexpected loss of Graham C. Hufford, the San Diego community has lost a legendary scuba instructor, a caring friend and mentor, an adventurous trip leader, and an ocean advocate. Graham meant so much to so many people, and it seems only right to honor his memory with a memorial at his favorite dive location, La Jolla.
The money raised here will fund a memorial plaque on the Coast Walk Legacy Wall. This wall is located on the Coast Walk Trail between the Cove and the Shores. This location overlooks the La Jolla caves with a beautiful ocean view.
This project’s goal of raising $1500 will allow for the purchase of a legacy plaque at this location. The Friends of the Coast Walk Trail uses this funding for trail repairs and maintenance.
Money raised over this amount will go towards creating an underwater memorial statue (location TBD), supporting the Vermillion Institute in Bahia De Los Angeles, and continuing Graham’s tradition of providing school supplies to the local school in Bahia De Los Angeles.
Please help us honor Graham’s legacy with a donation of any amount. Thank you.
