Honoring Ah Gong: Support for Funeral Expenses

Jing Tsann Jou, better known by his family as Ah-Gong (Grandpa in Taiwanese) was 69 years old when he passed away from heart complications on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024. My name is Clyde Autin and we are raising funds to help cover the funeral expenses for my beloved father-in-law.

Joe was more than just a father-in-law; he was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering love for our entire family. As a devoted father, he deeply cherished his daughters, Jackie and Renee, and supported them in all they did. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren, Max, Alex, and Dante, who were the light of his life. One of his favorite traditions was keeping a tally of their height on a wall in the living room—a simple act that filled him with happiness as he watched them grow. His eyes would light up whenever his grand children were around, and his playful spirit brought endless joy and laughter into our home.

Joe lived with remarkable courage and positivity despite facing heart problems for over a decade. He never let his health challenges define him. Instead, he embraced life fully, traveling and creating beautiful memories with those he loved. His charisma and optimism were infectious, and he had a unique ability to put a smile on anyone’s face, no matter the circumstances.

Joe’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and joy. He taught us the importance of family, the power of a positive attitude, and the value of cherishing every moment. His passing has left a void in our hearts, but his spirit will continue to guide us.

As we navigate this challenging time, we want to honor Joe with a funeral that reflects the love and joy he brought into our lives. Unfortunately, the costs associated with his funeral and related expenses are a challenge for our family to manage alone.
