Honoring Amanda: A Mother's Love Endures

Dear friends & family,

Our beloved Amanda Walker suddenly passed away on December 23rd, 2024, at 33 years old - way too young to say goodbye to. Amanda was a wonderful wife, amazing mother, loved daughter, beautiful sister, and lovely friend who touched the lives of those around her. She wore the joy of the Lord on her sleeve and was always able to put a smile on your face.

She leaves behind her husband Jammey and six children: Jewel (19), Jazmin (18), Kylie (16), Aubrey (12), Dominick (8), and Preston (1.5 yrs); mother Dawn Premo; father Dean Evans (Florida); brother Scott Evans; sister Jessie Evans; mother-in-love Joanne Hicks; and many other loved family and friends.

Amanda dedicated her life to her family and loved her children to the moon & back. Being a mother meant the world to her, and her smile was contagious and brightened any room. Her children are sure to carry that abundant beauty forever. They still need their mama and have a difficult journey ahead without her embrace. Please dedicate and commit a time of prayer for each of them to carry on the love shown by their precious mom. Prayer warriors - currently Dom is pretty sick with a tummy bug and Christmas is rushing on in - please pray the whole family through these ever SO TOUGH first days & months alone.

We (including you) are devastated and shocked by losing Amanda, and the family is not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. To be honest - there wasn't a policy to cover the needs of the children or the funeral since these things just don't seem to happen to us at 33 years old! We want to give her the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. We need to thank God for the time we were able to be loved by her until we see her and get to hug her once more in heaven. Any remainder of funds will assist Jammey and the children to breathe without worry and grieve this tremendous loss in their lives.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Amanda's final expense arrangements as there was no life insurance policy or other means at this time. We NEED to raise approx. $12,000 THIS WEEK (Christmas Week) in order to be able to make funeral arrangements while her Dad is here from Florida.

The fundraiser amount was picked to celebrate each of her 33 years of life. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced as soon as possible. Donations of any amount will make a world of difference for their family.
