Honoring Andre: A Brave and Beautiful Life
It is with unimaginable heartbreak that Andre’s family shares his passing. He was so much more than a boy who had brain cancer—he was light, love, and endless joy.
Andre’s journey was filled with courage. First diagnosed with Ependymoma at just 18 months old, he fought through surgeries, treatments, and relearning how to walk, talk, and eat. He relapsed in March 2024, again in December 2024, and on March 15, 2025, he took his final rest.
Despite everything, Andre lived life to the fullest. He loved school and made so many friends in his first year attending in person. He worked hard, determined to do everything other kids did—acing every spelling test, even before he could read or write. He never focused on what he couldn’t do, only on what he could.
Andre loved basketball, soccer, t-ball, and spending time with his cousins. But above all, he adored his baby sister. She was his “Queen,” and he was the most loving and protective big brother. He made her laugh, gave the best cuddles, and cherished every moment with her. She was his whole world.
His family is now facing the unimaginable pain of laying their sweet boy to rest. This fundraiser is to help cover funeral costs and remaining medical expenses. Any contribution, big or small, will help honor Andre’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
