With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved Ann Marie Reed, a beloved mother, Nana, sister and friend. One of her greatest passions in life was education -- through travel, art, music, food, and of course, great books. She was a grade school teacher for many years and went on to become a professor at Texas Wesleyan University where she taught others how to become educators themselves. When Rebecca passed away, Ann and her family established a scholarship fund at Sam Houston High School where Rebecca taught. It was named the Rebecca Reed Pfleger Acts Of Kindness Scholarship and was awarded to one student who demonstrated strength of character and exemplary acts of service to others. Every year since, Ann's family has awarded this scholarship to a student to use in whatever they pursued after graduation. Please consider making a donation in Ann's honor to our family scholarship fund. We will continue to share the stories through our social channels of each recipient who receives it.

Ann's Funeral Service

For those of you who would like to attend, the service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 11am in the big chapel at Moore Funeral Home, burial will follow. Please join us in celebrating a life well lived.
