We're trying to raise money to help bury my nephew Anthony Lenix Jr. (03/08/13-07/13/24)

Anthony tragically drowned in Lake Erie yesterday trying to save a young girl who was drowning.

Rescue workers were able to save the young girl however, they were not able to save our nephew as he was lost for a total of 40 minutes in the rough waters.

His father Anthony Lenix Sr is former US Marine and his mother Tyra Lenix works in Human Resources. Our guess is it was in our young soldier's nature to help someone in trouble at the risk of his own life. Watch news clip video below:
