Honoring Arthur Mac: Support for His Family
Donation protected
On Monday, October 8th, life as we knew it changed. I’m reaching out during a difficult time for my family as we mourn the passing of my beloved Grandpa. He meant so much to many, and his absence has left a profound void in our lives. Our grandparents' love was like no other, a real-life love story you could say, together for almost 50 years. Arthur Mac was a veteran of the Air Force and was one of the first few to do air traffic radar. He grew up in Germany and had many stories to tell if you’d ask him. My grandfather had chosen not to use his military benefits while he was here with us, as he felt he didn’t need them. As a result, we've taken on all the expenses ourselves while we work on obtaining his military number to access the support he did deserve. We are caring for our surviving grandmother who unfortunately cannot handle these obstacles without our help. It’s a challenge we never anticipated or planned for, so we are reaching out to our community for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, even sharing this with your community, could help and would be deeply appreciated and also help honor his memory in a way that reflects the love and joy he brought to all of our lives. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this heartbreaking time.
