Honoring Barney Ballenger: Funeral Support Needed

Raising funds for funeral expenses for my loving husband, Paul Barnabas Ballenger (Barney). Barney passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024.

Barney was born on December 8th, 1937, in Omaha, Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his parents, Karl & Pearl Ballanger, as well as his daughter Kathy and his siblings. Barney is survived by his wife, Doris (Cookie), his children Paul Jr., Duane, Monett, Clifford, Waylon, & stepson David (DJ), as well as many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Barney served in the Korean War as a sailor in the United States Navy. He was a POW for 18 months. Barney was also an amateur wrestler. He owned a concrete coring company in Canutillo, Texas, in the 1980s, as well as an appliance store in Clackamas, Oregon, in the 2000s.

Funds collected will be used to pay for his final expenses/funeral/medical bills.
