Honoring Bill Ditty

With great sadness, we’ve learned of Bill Ditty’s passing on January 18, 2022.

Our hearts go out to Deanna, Ryan and Scotty. An unexpected loss of a loved one is devastating in itself, and we wish to lighten a load of responsibility that his family will bear while they mourn the loss of this lovely man.

Bill gave tremendous support to his work family, and we’d like to honor him by asking for donations to lighten the burden of unexpected financial responsibilities which might arise.

With a positive outlook until the end, Bill took steps toward getting back into running something he loved, as well as creating special memories with Deanna during their trips to Las Vegas. However, his passion did not end with the NY Mets and the NJ Devils - he absolutely loved his work. With 32 years of service in many roles within Gannett, Bill's leadership led his teammates to victory, and he built countless relationships along the way in the trenches with clients and his work family.

Although Bill was a private man, he still made you feel like you were part of something special with one shared goal and encouraged many to grow and win alongside him.

No amount of money could measure up to your husband's character and dedication to his team, but we would like you to accept these donations as a loving gift reflecting how much we loved and respected Bill.
