Honoring Capitana Irene Adame
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
If you knew Irene Adame you could attest to her commitment, hard work and sacrifice for the Sacramento community. She loved her family, friends, and community and had a passion for the Aztec Culture and dedicated 20-plus years of her life helping those in need. Her dance group Kalpulli Xihuacoatl will continue her legacy and will honor her vision to provide a safe place for children and adults of all walks of life and allow them to feel included, loved, and appreciated. To teach discipline and respect for our brothers and sisters of this earth. One world, one love, One Creator.
The money will go towards a pillar honoring La Capitana to tell her story at the WXM Museum.
July 19/22
Nominee Endorsement Verbiage:

“Funding required is needed by the submission date, if unable to provide, interest/application is moved to the next phase ready for artist application submission.”
No donation is too small and on behalf of Kalpulli Xihuacoatl and Irene's family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
