Honoring Cara: Cremation and Urn Fund
Donation protected
My 29 year old sister, 16 year old sister, and I unexpectedly lost our biological mother Cara Renae Norris-Baur on 9/28/2024.
Cara was previously employed at Hardee’s, where she competed for the Western Illinois Biscuit Baking Competition and won.
Cara was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure, and was receiving dialysis treatment. She did not have burial or medical insurance. Cara was living out of her car, and trying to find a place to stay in the last few days of her life.
She would always try to brighten your day, and make anyone smile. She loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, horses, and cooking. In her younger years you could always find her a bike rally’s supporting the community, at car shows, or loving on animals. We both shared the love of the many horses and ponies at my grandmother’s house, and would often play with my toy horses growing up.
She always tried to have a close relationship with all three of us girls, given the circumstances.
We are asking for help to offset her cremation costs, and to get a nice urn for her remains.
We will hold a memorial for her at a later date to honor her life.
