Honoring Catfish: Help with Funeral Expenses

Dear family and friends,

We are heartbroken to share that our Dad, known to many as Catfish or Smitty, has passed. He fought strong and hard but lost his battle to Cancer. He was a talented musician, loving husband and father, a caring brother, and loyal friend. He was truly loved by so many and touched more lives than he will ever know. We are so grateful for all the love and support we have received already during this heartbreaking time.

Catfish had a love for music; he was a talented songwriter, singer, and harmonicist. The two places he was happiest were on stage and being surrounded by family. He would make friends with anyone he crossed and without a penny to his name, take the shirt off his back for a stranger. Some words that best describe him are honorable, hardworking, caring, strong, funny, and kind. He lived his life with more integrity than most can even fathom. Even though he has left us far too soon, he has touched so many lives and leaves behind so many memories we will forever be grateful for and cherish each day.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and community to help raise money to help with the funeral and memorial services. The loss of our father was very rapid, leaving us little time to prepare for the expenses. So we are truly grateful for any support during this difficult time.
