In Loving Memory of Charles "Charlie" Radtke – A Fundraiser to Support Lexi Allen and Adam Radtke Through an Unimaginable Loss

On February 10th, our beloved friend Lexi Allen was airlifted to Wausau, WI, after doctors discovered she was in preterm labor at just 23 weeks pregnant. After an emergency C-section, baby boy Charlie came into the world, filling his parents’ hearts with immense love and hope. Tragically, on February 13, 2025, Adam and Lexi faced the heart-wrenching loss of their precious son. The pain of losing a child is beyond comprehension, and our hearts are with them as they face this unimaginable grief.

I’ve created this fundraiser to help support Lexi and Adam as they navigate the emotional and financial challenges ahead. NICU and associated medical expenses they are facing are overwhelming and my hope is that as a community we can ease some of that burden, allowing them the space to heal and find comfort in the love and support surrounding them.

In addition to covering medical costs, every additional cent raised will be directed towards the Wausau Aspirus Bereavement Program and the NICU team at Wausau, who provided exceptional care for Charlie. Currently, Wausau does not have a dedicated program for mothers who have experienced the loss of a child. Lexi is actively working with the hospital to establish such a program, in hopes of offering future grieving parents a little more support. Their goal is to honor Charlie’s memory by ensuring that others in similar circumstances have a foundation of compassion and care to lean on. Camp George, a local summer camp for children and teens dealing with grief, founded and ran by Lexi Allen, may also benefit if there is enough funding.
