Honoring Chef Nasir Mason's Legacy
Donation protected
Hello there everyone,
It breaks my heart to inform that our Chef Milton's son, Nasir Mason has passed away from unknown natural causes on November 6, 2024.
Nasir Mason was a very talented private Chef and was known as Chef Nas, but Milton always called him Tyson. Milton would call him his "little me" when it came to being a chef in the kitchen making meals together, coaching and teaching him the fundamental's and basics of being a chef. Tyson was inspired by Milton's hard work and wanted to pursue their time together in the kitchen and follow in his father's foot steps and wanted to be a Chef.
It took Milton a long time to admit that Tyson was a better chef than him, and his eye for detail when it came to his plate presentation was top tier.
Nasir would always ask his dad "Pops, do you wanna come with me and get this money?" So Milton would assist with menu development and stay up plenty of nights practicing certain dishes and different styles.
When it came to competitions, Nasir was always the first and only person that Milton could trust and count on to get the job done.
Unfortunately, they never won one but they never stopped there. Nasir never gave up. Nasir went to compete on the TV show Chopped and became runner up. They would both talk and laugh about the story of their life and time in the kitchen together.
Not only was Tyson a son, brother, uncle, and nephew; he was a hell of a chef who's passion burnt so bright that you can see it through his food. He wasn't just a chef, he was an artist that expressed his creativity and love through his food. His life was cut short, he will always be missed but never forgotten.
Here is the information for Tyson's service, your donation will be most appreciated to get Milton and his family.
