Honoring Chris Pasowicz: Support His Memorial
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Chris Pasowicz, who left us on September 15th. Chris was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. As we come together to celebrate Chris’s life and cherish the beautiful memories we shared, we also face the challenge of honoring his memory with a fitting farewell.
To ensure that we can provide Chris with a respectful and meaningful memorial service, we are reaching out to you for support. We have created this fundraiser to help cover the costs associated with the memorial service and to provide a lasting tribute to Chris’s extraordinary life.
As some people might be aware, Chris has been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes since the beginning of May. His health took a dramatic turn when he was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Vascular dementia is a type of dementia caused by reduced blood flow to the brain due to damaged blood vessels. This lack of blood flow leads to problems with memory, thinking, and daily functioning. On Labor Day Monday, Chris was admitted into Alexian Brother Hospital where he was ventilated, had sepsis, MRSA, blood clots, and many infections on top of his long battle with diabetes.
We are overwhelmed by the love and support we have received during this difficult time. Chris touched so many lives, and it’s heartwarming to see how his memory continues to inspire and bring people together. Thank you for standing with us and helping us celebrate Chris Pasowicz’s life in a way that honors his legacy.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Pasowicz Family
